Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction, maintenance projects, and the development of Tree Bank. The ideal candidate will have experience in the related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall project management and construction activities to ensure health, safety and environment, schedule, cost, scope of works and quality are adhered to and achieved.
- Plan, organize, supervise and coordinate all technical, commercial, financial and administrative matters of the projects.
- Plan and prepare project schedules; allocate required resources; monitor progress and expedite project works when necessary.
- Ensure works comply with contract documents, project requirements and specifications; understand and apply Contract conditions.
- Feedback to project stakeholders on site-related matters including issues, changes and solutions via meetings or email communications.
- Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to facilitate project handover.
- Prepare monthly project progress reports and weekly project updates for stakeholders.
- Produce written meeting minutes for circulation and records.
- Lead and guide project team members in liaising with sub-contractors and workers to ensure timely and efficient project execution, minimizing delays and avoiding extensions of time.
- Communicate with local authorities to secure approvals and ensure regulatory compliance for building inspections and project development.
- Assist in managing project budgets, cost control, and preparation of reports for management decision-making.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the related field.Previous experience in a similar role or in related fields like landscape construction or landscape operations management.Well-versed in the life cycles and health issues of the plants, as well as competent in the use of equipment and tools.Strong understanding with project management software (Microsoft Project).Strong understanding of budgeting and job costing.Knowledge of local authority construction codes and regulations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
