Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Food Science / Food Technology / Food Biotechnology / Halal Management
  • Certified Halal Executive (if any)
  • Certified Food Handler Training (if any)
  • 3-4 years of experience in related job

Responsibilities

  • Food Safety & Halal Compliance

    • Coordinating foodline staff to comply with authority requirements (Typhoid vaccination / Food Handler Training)

  • Assisting with visitation & audit from the authority (MOH / PBT / JAKIM)
  • Checking Food Safety & Halal compliance (Staff / Department)
  • Maintaining HACCP & HALAL system certification at outlets
  • Assisting in pest monitoring
  • Investigating customer complaints related to food / halal
  • Conduct Training (Internal)

    • Chemical training

  • CCP training
  • Halal-related training
  • Conduct an audit (internal)

    • Conduct monthly Food Safety & Halal Audit

  • Conduct a cross Food Safety & Halal Audit at any of AEON outlets (if any)
  • Others

    • Report submission – Food Safety & Halal

  • Attend meeting & training (if any)
  • Document compilation related to Food Safety & Halal compliance
  • Advise the store manager on Food Safety & Halal related issues
