Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards (e.g. MFRS / IFRS).
Handle general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely posting of all financial transactions.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare periodic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget utilization and highlight variances with recommendations.
4. Compliance & Control
Ensure adherence to statutory and tax requirements (e.g. SST, income tax, withholding tax).
Maintain proper internal controls and financial documentation for audit readiness.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
5. Cash & Treasury Management
Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
Manage petty cash, payments, and collections efficiently.
Ensure proper authorization and documentation for all disbursements.
6. Administrative & Support
Support the Finance Manager or Head of Finance in ad hoc financial projects.
Provide administrative and analytical support to other departments when required
7. Adhoc Duties
Undertake additional responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
Proficient in financial reporting, general ledger management, and reconciling accounts.
Strong working knowledge of financial and tax regulations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Experience with accounting software (Navision or similar systems).
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
