MYR60,000.00 / yr - MYR102,000.00 / yr

Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join a global leader in fastening and assembly solutions with a strong presence across Asia. This position blends technical acumen with strategic business development, promoting innovative fastening solutions and customized value‑add services.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Identify, map, and prioritize new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with design engineers, sourcing teams, and decision‑makers at OEMs, EMS, and system integrators.
  • Understand technical requirements and provide tailored fastening or assembly solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to propose or customize solutions that meet design and regulatory standards.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or technical sales, ideally in fasteners, mechanical components, or precision parts.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Highly proactive, persistent, and self‑driven with a strong hunter and farmer mindset.
  • Market-aligned salary based on experience and qualifications.
