We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in selling software testing services to insurance companies in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge of insurance workflows, regulatory requirements, and testing methodologies, and will be adept at building strategic relationships with decision-makers across underwriting, claims, and digital transformation teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to promote software testing services (manual, automation, performance, security) to insurance clients.
Identify and qualify leads within life, general, and takaful insurance segments.
Drive end-to-end sales cycles—from prospecting to contract closure.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with CIOs, QA Heads, and Digital Transformation leaders.

Understand client pain points in legacy systems, compliance, and digital onboarding to position tailored testing solutions.

Conduct workshops, demos, and solution presentations to showcase testing capabilities.

Solutioning & Collaboration

Collaborate with delivery and QA teams to design customized testing frameworks aligned with insurance-specific use cases (e.g., policy issuance, claims processing, regulatory reporting).

Provide input on pricing models, SLAs, and engagement structures.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes (e.g., BNM guidelines, PIDM requirements).

Maintain CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field

5+ years of experience in business development or solution sales, with at least 2 years focused on software testing services.

Strong understanding of insurance domain processes and digital transformation initiatives in Malaysia.

Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building long-term client relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
