Plan, organize, and oversee the review of contractors’ progress schedules.
Evaluate manufacturers' representatives regarding products, trade policies, and replacement methods; approve or reject project materials as needed.
Select and determine project-related materials, equipment, quantities, and sources.
Coordinate and follow up on design and drawing approvals required by local authorities (e.g., DOSH).
Liaise with DOSH engineers / officers, client engineers, and other stakeholders involved in construction projects.
Address and resolve customer complaints related to construction works.
Review and manage contractual matters related to construction projects.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations personnel regarding machine breakdowns.
Communicate with customers on project progress and key matters.
Conduct meetings and presentations as required.
Prepare claims against customers and certify progress payments to subcontractors.
Develop production documents and procedures while providing briefings on construction work sequences.
Assist in preparing QC documents and procedures, ensuring proper coordination of QC inspections.
Prepare material take-off (MTO), source materials, and evaluate pricing.
Develop cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
Travel and work at outstation locations as required.
Perform any other duties relevant to the position as assigned.
What you'll Bring :
Degree in Engineering (fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of construction rules for pressure vessels (ASME, PED, PD5500, TEMA, etc.).
Familiarity with project planning software is a plus.
Travel is required if necessary.
