Specialist, Field Sales foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world’s pioneering local delivery platform. We are looking for a Field Sales Specialist to be based in Bangsar South, covering the Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur zone, who can convince the best restaurants in Malaysia to join foodpanda. This role reports to the Lead, Field Sales, in the Commercial department.

Responsibilities

Drive B2B sales by seeking and securing new vendor partnerships.

Sign up local and international vendors; build market expertise and provide recommendations.

Be the local market expert : know the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia and provide recommendations.

Gather feedback from restaurants and shops, monitor competitor activity, and recommend improvements to management.

Act as brand ambassador : conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell foodpanda services to potential vendors.

Exceed sales targets and work independently.

Contribute to an international network and high-skilled team.

Manage a portfolio of vendors (restaurant and shop accounts) and strive for retention and development.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.

At least 2 years of work experience in consulting, e-commerce, or startup preferred.

Strong management skills to motivate field teams.

Flexibility to accommodate non-traditional schedules in the restaurant sector.

Outgoing and confident in appearance.

Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure.

Proactive with the ability to lead independent projects and think creatively.

Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup / tech environments preferred.

Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
