The Business Line Network Control Project Portfolio Group manages NC projects in the APAC region, delivering safely and on quality revenue, GM, and cash objectives, as well as risks and opportunities within its region.
Job Description
This role is open to be based in Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia, where our Hitachi Energy office is present. Successful applicants will continue to be based at their home location, and no relocation is required.
How you'll make an impact :
You will take overall Project Management and Customer facing of projects in their geography, manage business line sales and cash landings, as well as overall risks and opportunities. You will ensure project control, procurement, logistics activities, and coordinate with Engineering.
You will build and maintain the local NC organization, manage the team of Project Managers in the respective regions, ensuring an appropriate combination of hard and soft skills in accordance with local market characteristics.
You will provide input into the region's annual budget and operating plans, regularly report on P&L performance, and monitor and adjust revenue and margin generation to meet stretch targets within its region.
You will be accountable for the on-time and on-budget execution of NC customer contracts in the HBU region, accountable for overall customer success, and act as the first executive escalation point for customers.
Requirements
Master's degree or Engineering degree required. 10 years' related portfolio and project management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in portfolio or project office leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred knowledge of the software industry and experience within a global, matrix organization are required. You should possess excellent leadership, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills, with experience with monthly and quarterly close and reporting cycles.
