IT Senior Engineer

Job description

Maintain and support internal network and communication equipment (e.g., VPN, wireless AP, firewalls).

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software (PCs, laptops, printers, projectors, etc.).

Manage video / telephone conferencing systems and web-based communication tools.

Administer network services including VPN, DHCP, IP routing, and internet access permissions.

Set up and maintain employee email accounts and access rights.

Support and troubleshoot weak current systems (e.g., telephone, access control, surveillance).

Perform system updates, virus prevention, and basic cybersecurity tasks.

Conduct regular IT room inspections and support IT asset lifecycle management.

Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for IT-related projects and maintenance.

Support management in resolving IT-related business and legal matters as needed

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.

Well-versed in national and local IT regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.

Strong skills in internal and external coordination, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Professional demeanour with good cultural awareness and a presentable appearance.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required, with clear articulation and strong written and verbal communication skills.
