What does the role involve?

As an IT SAP Solution Architect, you will be part of a highly professional and international team of architects, engineers, and business counterparts located around the world. You will define architecture principles and patterns, drive their implementation, and balance innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, agile delivery, and cost-effective end-to-end implementation. In a cross-functional team, you will shape and drive the functional and technical design with a mix of technologies including SAP S / 4HANA, BYD, cloud applications on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

You will work within Hilti’s Fleet Acceleration program, one of the biggest IT projects adopting and enabling digitalization and integration of customer interactions with our backend systems. You will collaborate with Hilti business stakeholders to discuss new ideas for data-driven, subscription-based, and service-oriented use cases to provide a differentiated customer experience.

What you need is

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or in a related field.
• A good command of English (spoken and written), communication, and convincing skills in a multicultural environment.
• Strong conceptional and analytical skills
• Business acumen and customer focus providing solutions to add value.
• Strong business process understanding in SD
• Solid experience in SAP Architecture and SOA / Agile Architecting in complex on premise & cloud environments.
• SAP S4, BTP and Cloud architecture knowledge
• Fiori design, development (BAS, RAP, CAP), and extensibility concepts
• Experience in integration suite - SAP PI / PO, CPI, Gateway and interface technologies.
• Security and authentication concepts
