Job description

FULL SET OF ACCOUNTS : Managing full set of accounts (General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, and Fixed Assets) while ensuring timely and accurate month-end & year-end closing.

FINANCIAL REPORTING : Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual financial reports in support of budgeting, forecasting, & overall financial analysis.

TAX & COMPLIANCE : Oversee tax-related matters such as SST & income tax by ensuring full compliance with statutory obligations & liaising with auditors, tax agents, & relevant authorities.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & RECEIVABLE : Monitor receivable & payables by reviewing ageing reports, verifying invoices & staff claims, and ensuring accurate and timely payments or collections.

INTERNAL CONTROLS & PROCEDURES : Strengthen internal controls & accounting procedures by aligning practices with company policies and financial reporting standards such as MFRS.

TEAM COORDINATION & SUPERVISION : Supervise junior account staffs by reviewing their work and providing ongoing training & guidance to ensure accurate financial reporting.

AUDIT & YEAR-END CLOSING : Support year-endaudit processes by preparing audit schedules and ensuring all financial records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

ADHOC TASKS : Assist management with ad hoc financial tasks and contribute to system enhancements, automation projects, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Mandarin fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential for communication with our China headquarters.
