Security Section Manager

Job Responsibilities :

To develop and motivate a team of security supervisors, shift security personnel and agency guards with the objective to enforce company security and safety procedures and to ensure minimal loss of company products, property and proprietary information.

To plan and implement programs and projects to achieve the Penang sites or corporate security and loss prevention goals and objectives.

To work closely with Royal Malaysia Customs, Royal Malaysia Police, and other government agencies required.

To promote security awareness program to instill a security culture and ensure a secure work environment.

To manage an effective and well-maintained security equipment and systems which is utilized by the security team to deter and detect crime and losses.

To study, benchmark and implement improvements for security systems and physical security enhancement.

To have an effective liaison with the security managers in the industry and related government departments.

To develop and implement a Crisis Management Plan for the site jointly with the Corporate Security Team.

Other working tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in security management or management and any relevant courses.

At least 8 to 12 years of work experience including 3 to 5 years as a Senior Security Specialist in a large multinational company (MNC).

Proficient in written and spoken Malay and English

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : Up to RM12,000.00 per month
