About the role :

Are you ready to step up as our Engagement Manager, leading a dynamic team across PR and Influencer Marketing? In this role, you'll build and manage key partnerships with both commercial and nonprofit clients, while driving growth and collaboration across teams within the MarComm department.

In this role, you'll spearhead social and digital communication strategies with an "audience first" mindset, ensuring that campaigns and concepts are tailored to captivate and engage our target audience while delivering exceptional results. We need someone with impeccable multitasking abilities, innovative thinking, and the confidence to present ideas effectively. Previous experience in PR, Marketing, and channel / platform management is essential.

Additionally, you should be adept at leveraging AI to automate workflows and operations, optimising output and efficiency for your department and the company as a whole.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing and public relations strategies : Craft and implement innovative influencer marketing and PR strategies that align with brand objectives, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.
  • Identify, vet & outreach : Cultivate relationships with prominent influencers, thought leaders, and media outlets, ensuring alignment with brand values and objectives.
  • Configure content direction : Develop sample captions, KOL bios / personas, and PR materials tailored to relevant platforms and media outlets, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Work with our in-house audience intelligence team : Collaborate on audience analytics to optimise influencer marketing and PR initiatives and drive engagement.
  • Manage & coordinate posting schedules : Oversee posting schedules for active campaigns and PR initiatives, ensuring timely and strategic content delivery.
  • Quality control : Ensure quality control over drafts and assets for both influencer marketing and PR, maintaining brand consistency and excellence in execution.
  • Research : Conduct thorough research on industry experts, competitors, target audience, and media outlets to inform strategy and campaign development.
  • Problem-solving : Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills with logical reasoning and creative thinking to untangle complex issues as they arise in influencer marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Brainstorming : Lead brainstorming sessions with the team, fostering strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives that align with partner objectives in both influencer marketing and PR.
  • Day-to-day management : Take the lead in managing influencer marketing and PR campaigns, ensuring internal efficiencies are optimised for successful execution.
  • Client interaction : Engage directly with clients, primarily virtually but occasionally on-site, taking ownership of projects and delivering end products that exceed expectations in both influencer marketing and PR.
  • Manage juniors and expand the team : Supervise and mentor junior team members while actively contributing to their growth and development.
  • Business Development (BD) and client initiatives : Drive business development efforts by identifying and closing new client leads and opportunities.
  • Assisting in internal and external communications at REISE, ensuring clear and effective messaging and strategies where appropriate.

Who You Are :

  • Minimum 3-4 years of prior experience in a digital marketing environment and or digital PR team . Experience in PR, or communications is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of influencer marketing, brand, and communication principles.
  • Experience in leading and managing influencer marketing campaigns and teams.
  • Should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, XHS and Twitter / X.
  • An interest in how digital operates within the non-profit space is a plus.
  • Eager to break new ground - as seen through previous experience.
