Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in a relevant field such as Food Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in food and beverage manufacturing, demonstrating a strong understanding of production processes.
- Proven ability to implement and maintain manufacturing and production procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing food production processes, including ingredient handling, mixing, processing, and packaging.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Experience in conducting research and development activities to improve existing products and develop new product formulations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and machinery, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving production goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Assist in the research and development of new food and beverage products, focusing on recipe formulation, ingredient sourcing, and process optimization.Support the production team in daily operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to maintain consistent quality and compliance with food safety regulations.Monitor and maintain accurate records of production processes, quality control data, and inventory levels.Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to scale up new product formulations from the laboratory to full-scale production, ensuring seamless transition and consistent product quality.Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both R&D and production activities.Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and GMP, throughout the production process.Benefits
