    The Opportunity :

    As a Product Specialist (Medical), you will oversee promoting, marketing, and distributing Livemed Sdn Bhd products through assigned medical channels. As a Product Specialist, you are expected to identify new opportunities to increase product sales, investigate and resolve customer complaints, and negotiate the terms of sale with customers strategically in order build Business in Medical.

    We are serious about looking for a candidate with an excellent work attitude, most importantly accountable, trustworthy and a team player who demonstrates close collaboration within the organization. This position is required to travel interstate between Penang, Kedah and Perlis on a scheduled basis

    Sales Target Achievement :

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through strategic territory management.
  • Utilize efficient time management, optimal resource utilization, and apply good selling skills engaging HCPs with consultative selling to grow business in assigned territory.
  • Daily Planning and Execution :

  • Plan, schedule, and organize daily tasks to meet potential HCPs
  • Able to use outlook calendar and CRM system to schedule monthly call plan.
  • To gauge potential of HCPs enabling customer segmentation for effecting call plan and execution.
  • Networking and Relationship Building :

  • Proactively establish and maintain strong networks with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision makers.
  • Build close rapport with healthcare professionals and internal personnel.
  • Business Development :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers.
  • Engage in merchandising activities with hospital retail pharmacies.
  • Professional Interactions :

  • Demonstrate attentiveness and responsiveness when interacting with healthcare professionals.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting meetings, talks, seminars, continuous medical education (CME), continuous medical discussion (CMD), and Blitz sessions to promote brand image and product awareness.
  • Sales Support and Promotion :

  • Effectively use all sales support materials and clinical papers to gain recommendations, prescriptions, and endorsements from healthcare professionals.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning :

  • Analyze sales reports, competitor information, and market intelligence.
  • Develop actionable and tangible sales plans to expand customer base and to grow business by account level.
  • Product Differentiation and Customer Service :

  • Differentiate products from competitors and address customer issues confidently and appropriately.
  • As a Product Specialist, you are expected be the subject matter expert in the therapeutic area – product, disease, and market
  • Sales Tracking and Reporting :

  • Update and maintain sales tracking reports to maximize territory effectiveness.
  • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Take ownership of and excel in any additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Continuous Learning and Growth :

    Demonstrate a strong desire to acquire knowledge and advance within the company through continuous learning and personal growth.

    What you'll need to succeed :

    Diploma or Degree in Science / Medical, or related disciplines (or equivalent)

  • Innovative, result-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient, with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, presentation, and analytical skills also digital / computer savvy.
  • Possess your own transport and a valid driving license.

  • Willingness to travel extensively, covering the assigned territory.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Pharma / Medical sales, specifically dealing with healthcare professionals and the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in dermatology is an added advantage.
  • Experience covering other regions would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
