Job descriptionPrepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, cappuccinos, lattes, and brewed coffee. Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently and safely. Take customer orders and answer questions about the menu and beverages. Ensure the coffee bar is fully stocked with necessary supplies, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling of ingredients. Manage cash register, handle payments, and give change accurately. Assist in the creation of seasonal drinks and promotions. Offer recommendations and upsell products (e.g., snacks, pastries, and coffee beans). Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. Support other staff in maintaining the shop’s ambiance and atmosphere. Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the coffee shop. Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least SPM
- Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and coffee equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a high volume of orders.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and coffee culture.
