Job description

Provide effective commissioning, planning and management of all roadwork projects, as well as be the primary technical point of contact to the customers and / or colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate with clients, consultants, main-contractors and sub-contractors on site matters to ensure project implementation and execution is according to planned timeline.
  • Study and review technical drawings, identify and highlight discrepancies (if any) and take necessary timely follow up action.
  • Assist the manager in preparation of costing, tendering process, and quotation documentation.
  • Supervise and monitor the project’s implementation to ensure the quality of work on site is according to the company's quality policy.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients or site personnel, discuss and troubleshoot any problem or dispute on site.
  • Control and reduce material usage and wastage control to contain and reduce project expenditure without compromising the quality requirement.
  • Report site progress weekly to line manager to keep the management informed of the latest progress of all projects in hand.
  • Any assignment assigned by management from time to time.
  • Compliance, coordination and implementation of the ISO9001 : 2015, ISO14001 : 2015 and ISO45001 : 2018 legal, rules and regulations.

Job Specifications

  • Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Survey or relevant discipline.
  • Experience : Min 1 year of experience in construction process management.
  • Site supervision and coordination.
  • Fresh graduate who demonstrates strong ability in learning new skills can be given consideration.
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong in planning, organising and problem solving.
  • Behavioural : Strong drive and passion for excellence, willing to work additional hours when required.
  • Flexible and creative.
  • Language Proficiency : Proficient in spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
