Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Legal Counsel (APAC) .

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

Brenntag, the world’s largest & leading full-line chemical distributor with a market cap of EUR11 billion, is seeking a highly-motivated, diligent and intelligent Regional Counsel to join its APAC Legal Team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the legal landscape of our organization regionally and will be the go-to partner for all legal-related issues within your assigned countries and business units. You will be the right-hand of the APAC Head of Legal.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• To provide legal strategic support to cross-functional stakeholders in Asia-Pacific.
• A team player with a can-do attitude who can work independently.
• Experience in corporate commercial and contract review and management work :

Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts in local language and legal documents (both commercial and non-commercial). Candidates with experience in reviewing procurement and supply contracts and experience in dispute resolution are preferred;

YOUR PROFILE

Job Requirement / Specification :

Education : Bachelor of Laws Degree (minimum) from a top-tier university. Overseas qualifications from a tier 1 university is a plus.

Qualifications : Holder of a valid Attorney / Legal Practitioner License in a Common Law jurisdiction.

Language : Excellent command of English. Ability to speak Thai, Bahasa Indonesian, Chinese is a plus.
