About the Role

The Business Development Manager is pivotal in driving SEEK’s client reactivation strategies, rebuilding long-term relationships, and ensuring account success. You’ll manage a portfolio of ~500 accounts, including SMEs, corporate clients, and previously churned users, leveraging consultative door-to-door sales to uncover business opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will ensure clients’ hiring successes by providing tailored solutions, monitoring sales pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reengage Churned Accounts : Actively pursue and win back previously churned customers to rebuild trust and value.
  • Lead Door-to-Door Client Visits : Conduct on-site visits to engage SMEs and corporate clients, uncover needs, and provide solutions.
  • Tailor Recovery Plans : Use insights to develop reactivation plans customized for each territory and sales performance goal.
  • Drive Account Optimization : Monitor and improve account activity, ensuring SEEK’s tools are integrated effectively to meet client hiring needs.
  • Collaborate on Strategic Campaigns : Partner with marketing, customer experience, and product teams to reinforce win-back strategies that maximize outcomes.
  • Analyze Churn and Trends : Develop actionable insights from customer data to improve recovery rates and inform sales practices.
  • Training & Consultation : Share hiring tool strategies with clients to improve their talent acquisition performance.
  • Pipeline Accountability : Track daily activity using CRM tools and ensure consistent updates on the status of churned accounts.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience and proven success in reactivating accounts
  • Proficiency in consultative, solution-based selling approaches
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and achieve data-driven strategies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engagement
  • Willingness to conduct regular travel for door-to-door client visits
