Job descriptionValid Green Book registration (SHO) with DOSH (JKKP). First Aid Certificate & NIOSH Tenaga Safety Passport (NTSP). Scaffold Competency (Basic level). Minimum 2 years' working experience in a related role. Proficient in Microsoft Office; additional safety training is an advantage. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia & English. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Contract or permanent position available. Must have a clean safety record (no incidents / accidents in the past 2 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and committed Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book (JKKP / DOSH) to join our team for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) substation projects. This is a full-time, site-based role where you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing workplace safety standards, ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and coordinate all safety-related aspects of TNB substation projects.
- Organize and supervise site safety matters for contractors and subcontractors.
- Maintain all safety documentation, checklists, and statutory compliance at site.
- Supervise project works to ensure full compliance with safety and health standards.
- Conduct internal safety training and daily Toolbox Meetings (TBM).
- Report directly to the Project Manager and Head of Safety Department.
- Visit and monitor multiple project sites as required.
