Job description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for being the main customer contact, investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, collect and compile statistical quality data & prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Assist to maintain company Quality Management System in accordance to certification requirement (ISO 14001& IATF 16949)
  • To interface with customer, supplier, other process engineering and production personnel in resolving quality problems.
  • Requirement for analyse engineering specifications and monitoring operational processes to develop and install quality control methods, practices and procedures as to apply on customer's requirements / IATF 16949.
  • Provide proactive leadership in the identification of issues that affect overall product quality.
  • Troubleshoot across the system to problem triage and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Ensure that proper quality methodologies and tools are applied for the organizations (eg : 8D, FMEA, 5WHY, SPC, MSA and other related tools).
  • Knowledgeable and experiences of 5 core tools in IATF 16949 requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Plastic / Industrial or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in quality system in automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Well verse of IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 & familiar of product certification programs for IATF 16949 & ISO Full attended basic 5 core tools training for IATF 16949 is an added advantage.
  • Experience of working in quality inspection and testing in automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding for injection moulding part and related process & familiar with technical drawing and measurement equipment such as Smart Scope, pin gauge, Vernier Calliper etc.
  • Computer literate with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other communication tools.
  • Strong teamwork background, strong analytical and problem-solving skills medium.
  • Good communication skills & effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Hardworking individual who has the ability to work effectively and maintaining accuracy at all times.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
