Overview
Our Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization is responsible for the design, governance, and execution of global processes. Within GBS, the Source to Settle (STS) organization ensures that employee purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payments are processed timely and efficiently. The STS process includes Vendor Master Data setup, Supplier Onboarding, Purchasing, Invoicing, Settlements, and the STS Service and Relationship Delivery. The STS SRD Tier 1 team provides first-line support for internal and external customers, aiming for first-time resolution and minimal handoffs.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a global team of STS SRD Tier 1 professionals executing STS SRD processes (Follow the Sun Model where language-dependency allows).
- Handle tickets with high quality and timeliness according to defined SLAs.
- Provide first-in-class customer support through the case management tool (ServiceNow) and telephony systems.
- Understand their role in the end-to-end design and deliver high-quality service to employees and suppliers to increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with SRD Tier 2 analysts and other STS subgroups to ensure a globally consistent approach.
- Adhere to the global process design, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Raise opportunities and pain points to inform continuous improvement, identify trends, and reduce recurring cases.
- Work with SRD Tier 2 and the Global Governance team on frequent flyers and other opportunities.
- Drive adoption and effective use of ServiceNow for documenting and tracking service requests and issues; use dashboards to drive productivity and consistency.
- Provide cover for other team members as required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields preferred.1 year of demonstrated work experience in General Accounting and / or Finance Shared Services, customer services, and / or Source to Settle preferred but not mandatory.Business-level fluency in English (oral and written) is a must; additional languages required. Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Korean language skills (written and spoken) are desirable to interact with customers.Understanding of STS and surrounding processes.Strong diligence, problem-solving, and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Continuous improvement mindset, customer-focused and results-driven, sense of urgency, and initiative.Ability to work effectively in a team and share knowledge and feedback.Required Attributes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint at minimum).Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to operate independently and stay focused through change or uncertainty.Customer service mindset.SAP ECC and Ariba experience desired; experience with case management tools (ServiceNow) beneficial.Positive, engaging disposition with high integrity and energy; ability to work with diverse cultures.Physical Position Requirements
