Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Sous Chef located in Tanjung Tokong. The Junior Sous Chef will assist the head chef in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and plating. Responsibilities also include managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The role requires collaboration with other departments to plan and execute events and functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and plating
• Skills in kitchen staff management and team collaboration
• Ability to maintain high food quality and standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is advantageous
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred
