Support development of customized automation equipment including system design, development, and commissioning
Work with supplier partners to optimize system design and performance
Support manufacturing process scale up activities and production ramp
Debug current issues, improve cycle times, yields, equipment uptime
Support escalation activities and troubleshoot production equipment
Use equipment performance data to drive improvement projects
Initiate continuous improvement plans for existing equipment
Institute statistical process controls on applicable manufacturing equipment
Effectively communicate and publish learning, experimental results, etc.

Qualifications
BS / MS Degree Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or relatedExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills5+ years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with automation components and tools including PLCs, pneumatics, motors, digital and analog IO, temperature controllers, and CADDesire to work in a dynamic, highly creative environmentSeniority level
