To oversee and manage the overall QAQC operations of the company from HQ, ensuring that all construction projects comply with regulatory, client, and internal quality standards. This role is strategic and coordination-focused, supporting site teams and top management by driving quality initiatives, standardization, audits, and continuous improvement across all project locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in setting company-wide QAQC policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
- Coordinate QAQC implementation across multiple project sites from HQ.
- Lead and mentor the HQ-based QAQC team and provide technical guidance to site-based teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders on quality matters.
- Conduct regular quality performance reviews and present reports to senior management.
- Ensure all QAQC operations align with ISO 9001, CIDB requirements, and other statutory standards.
- Review and approve QAQC documentation (e.g., ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submissions) before distribution to sites.
- Monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), root cause analyses, and corrective / preventive actions.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits; follow up on findings and compliance.
- Evaluate and standardize QAQC processes across all projects for efficiency and consistency.
- Coordinate training programs and quality awareness initiatives for staff and subcontractors.
- Support tender and pre-construction teams with quality inputs and documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum 10-15 years of QAQC experience in the construction industry, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership / managerial role.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Proficient in QAQC documentation and systems.Ability to manage multiple projects and teams remotely.Knowledge of Malaysian construction laws and quality standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
