Engineer - Regional Offices (Southern, Central, Northern)

This role supports the Lead at Regional Offices and is responsible for project implementation and maintenance of the Fiber Optic Network and Services within the respective region.

The role requires project implementation and vendor management skills and is key to ensuring fibre optic projects are executed with efficient coordination in delivering the company’s Fiber Optic Network and Services projects.

The role acts as the regional representative ensuring implementation and maintenance works are carried out on-site as required per the approved work plan. Responsible to supervise external contractors and vendors, and ensure compliance with service agreements, company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with demonstrated work experience in project management and maintenance operations in the telecommunications, fibre optic or related industry will be added advantage.
• Experience in project coordination and project reporting.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
• Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance regulations within a technical environment.
• Competent using Fiber Optic Test Gear, Network Equipment configuration and troubleshooting knowledge / certification will be added advantage.
• Exposure dealing with state government, local council and authority will be added advantage.
