Job description

Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Revit Furniture CAD Block Designer to support our global design teams in delivering high-quality, standardised CAD blocks for furniture layouts in refit and renovation projects. This role requires close collaboration with both local and international stakeholders, ensuring design consistency and technical accuracy across regions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create, update, and manage CAD block libraries for furniture.
  • Collaborate with global and local design teams to align on design standards and project requirements.
  • Interpret architectural and interior design plans to produce accurate furniture layouts.
  • Ensure all CAD blocks comply with internal standards and local building codes.
  • Provide 2D and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input on spatial planning and furniture integration.
  • Maintain organized documentation and version control of all design assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD block design, preferably in furniture or interior design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of furniture systems, spatial planning, and ergonomic principles.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken) to support cross-regional collaboration.
  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience in using Full Adobe and Microsoft packages
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Preferred Attributes :

  • Background in furniture design or manufacturing is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working on refit or renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with global design documentation standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across cultures and time zones.
