We are seeking a hands-on and committed Assistant Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support maintenance operations, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure machinery reliability in a medium to heavy industry environment. Fresh graduates with strong technical skills and a passion for engineering are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Mechanical Engineer in maintaining machinery and utility systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Ensure proper maintenance documentation (PM, CMMS, job orders, etc.)
- Lead and supervise teams during breakdowns, night shifts, and overtime tasks
- Coordinate with vendors on repairs, spare parts, and technical proposals
- Prepare and update reports (F6O, FTA, FRR, SOPs, KYM, work permits, etc.)
- Support the creation of new SOPs, 5S implementation, and downtime reduction initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis (5 Why, RCA) and prepare technical reports
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
