Overview
SAP Integration Developer posting by Swisslog. The role focuses on building and maintaining integrations across enterprise systems using webMethods, API management, and other integration technologies within a service-oriented architecture.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations with the central IBM webMethods ESB, its cloud-based tool (webMethods.io), and Informatica PowerCenter ETL.
- Address complex scenarios by using PowerShell or Python as needed.
- Design robust integration solutions for event-driven, real-time, or batch-oriented problems using webMethods, Azure API Management, and other automation technologies; cover the process from requirements verification, interface definition, implementation, testing to go-live.
- Deploy integrations via an automated CI / CD pipeline (ANT, Azure DevOps, Terraform).
- Provide RESTful / SOAP APIs and connect systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and other systems to the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
- Maintain the API Developer Portal managed via an API Management tool.
- Support reusable APIs for service-oriented architecture and modernization of the application landscape.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and assist with troubleshooting technical issues.
- Assist the Integration Architect by identifying opportunities for technical improvement and proposing ideas for discussion.
- Stay up to date with state-of-the-art methods in API development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and technically manage external partners; document processes and implementations.
Qualifications
Bachelor / Master degree in computer science or equivalent.5+ years of experience in API and interface development and using integration platforms such as webMethods, Mulesoft, or comparable tools.Knowledge of authentication protocols (Basic Auth, OAuth, Kerberos / NTLM), web services (REST, SOAP), messaging (XML, JSON); able to implement with an object-oriented language.Scripting skills for CI / CD with GIT via Terraform, PowerShell.Excellent written and verbal English; German is a plus.Analytical, structured, and methodical approach.Team player with strong communication skills and customer-service orientation.Willingness to work across flexible hours and travel internationally (approx. 2 weeks per year).Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders in an international environment.About Swisslog
