POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Trainer Executive designs, develops, and delivers training for all CUCKOO personnel, ensuring staff have the product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities to deliver "Beyond Standards" experiences to our customers. Candidates should be passionate about learning & development, skilled in communication and facilitation, and able to tailor training for diverse groups.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities within the sales and / or service departments.Curriculum Development : Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, handouts, activities, and assessments, for both new hires and existing employees.Training Delivery : Deliver comprehensive training sessions (classroom-based, virtual, or blended) on CUCKOO products, sales methodologies, customer service best practices, and company policies.Product Expertise : Maintain in-depth knowledge of all CUCKOO products, features, benefits, and troubleshooting steps to ensure accurate and up-to-date training.Skill Enhancement : Focus on enhancing both hard skills (e.g., product demonstration, technical servicing) and soft skills (e.g., communication, objection handling, problem-solving, active listening, time management, emotional intelligence) for trainees.Performance Evaluation : Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through various methods (e.g., quizzes, role-playing, post-training assessments, feedback surveys) and provide constructive feedback to trainees.Coaching & Mentoring : Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales and service personnel to reinforce learned skills and support continuous improvement.Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate training records, track trainee progress, and prepare reports on training outcomes and recommendations for improvement.Collaboration : Work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing, Company Planning and HR departments to ensure training programs align with business objectives and product launches.Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends, new training methodologies, and CUCKOO's evolving products and services to continuously enhance training content and delivery.Ad-hoc Duties : Perform any other duties as assigned by the management related to training and development initiatives.QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Academic Education :
Possess at least a diploma or bachelor's degree in any field.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (Demonstrating high potential and a strong interest in training and development).Experience :
While fresh graduates are welcomed, 1-2 years of proven experience in a training, facilitation, or coaching role is a strong advantage.Experience in the retail, home appliance, electrical & electronic appliances, direct sales, or a fast-paced customer-centric industry would be beneficial.Language Proficiency :
Native or Fluent : English and Bahasa Malaysia.Bonus : Proficiency in Mandarin / Tamil (spoken and / or written) is a significant advantage, reflecting CUCKOO's diverse market and internal team.Technical Skills :
Proficient computer skills : Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint (for dynamic presentations).Ability to use Google Drive : For collaborative document management and sharing.Ability to use Canva : For creating visually appealing training materials and engaging content.Ability to work on multiple tasks : Efficiently manage and prioritize various training projects and responsibilities.Interpersonal skills :
