Decathlon Connect Aeon Cheras is our new concept store launching soon.

While our current mega stores offer a full retail sports experience, our Connect stores will provide a complete range of products and services with a more personalized approach to meet all your sports needs. Although the store is smaller, our commitment remains the same, and your satisfaction is our priority.

As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development so those who want to build careers within the business can flourish. Whether you're a student seeking a part-time role or someone looking for a career change, Decathlon caters to all.

Responsibilities : 1. To Customers

  • Welcome customers professionally.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for issues (returns, complaints, checkout, etc.).
  • Educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings and product range.
  • Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Build a network of customers both in-store and online to establish personal relationships.
  • Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
  • Encourage subscription / registration for loyalty programs to improve customer information.
  • Participate in sports-related community events nearby the store.

2. To Decathlon Malaysia

  • Align with the department's goals and work with the team to achieve them.
  • Promote innovation and sports experiences in-store.
  • Boost sales using resources and commercial tools.
  • Arrange store layout according to guidelines.
  • Create high-quality store layouts based on Customer Satisfaction principles.
  • Maintain attractive store presentation.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
  • Raise awareness about Decathlon Connect among stakeholders.

    • 3. For Safety of People and Goods

  • Enforce safety and security standards.
  • Implement fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Follow security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
  • Observe product safety policies.

    • 4. Development and Skills Improvement

  • Manage personal development and training plans.
  • Participate in training and develop training skills.
  • Help teammates improve skills under leadership guidance.
