Sustaining Engineer, Primary Storage

This position provides Engineering level assistance for our customers, partners, and sales teams. As a Sustaining Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking in a fast-paced, and expanding primary storage market.

Primary responsibilities include being the interface for our primary storage engineering team by handling customer issues that have been escalated from our customer support group.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience in a sustaining engineering support group along with software development to help in troubleshooting.

Job Duties :

• Quickly analyze customer issues live or through logs / cores / kdumps to isolate product issues or environmental configurations.
• Work directly with development engineering, test, service engineers to develop tactical solutions for customer issues.
• Duplicate customer issues as needed to facilitate troubleshooting.
• Oversee and administer internal Engineering lab.
• Review code to mitigate or fix customer issues.
• Participate in the Sustaining On-call rotation.
