Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Financial reporting : Perform timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts for accurate and efficient financial reporting.
  • Prepare tax returns and tax computation : File individual, corporate or partnership tax returns
  • Research : Conduct research with identification of non-compliances on tax laws, regulations and compliance issues
  • Client Management : Monitor tax deadlines and communicate meetings
  • Lead audit engagements : Conduct and oversee audits for a variety of clients across different industries, expanding your expertise and professional network.
  • Assess risk and improve processes : Perform risk assessments, test internal controls, and identify areas for improvement, contributing to clients' operational efficiency.
  • Prepare audit documentation : Create comprehensive audit working papers and reports in line with International Standards of Auditing and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide valuable insights : Offer timely and insightful recommendations to clients, helping them enhance their internal controls and financial performance.

Qualifications :

  • Accounting professional : Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating your foundational knowledge in the area.
  • Experienced auditor : Bring 3 - 5 years of experience in external auditing, preferably from a public accounting firm, to contribute your expertise to our clients' projects.
  • Certified professional : Possession of professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Technical expertise : Demonstrate a strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations to excel in this role.
  • Analytical thinker : Showcase excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, essential for producing high-quality audit work.
  • Effective communicator : Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact successfully with clients and team members.
  • Adaptable team player : Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay : RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
