1. Monthly Account Closing Support

  • Prepare and update accounting schedules and supporting worksheets.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounting system accurately and timely.
  • Perform basic reconciliations and highlight discrepancies for review.

2. Accounts Payable

  • Review supplier invoices and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper verification, coding, and matching of invoices to POs / DOs (if applicable).
  • Assist in preparing payment vouchers and liaise for approvals.
  • Maintain updated vendor records and monitor outstanding payables.
  • 3. Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare customer invoices and ensure supporting documents are complete.
  • Update and monitor receipt collections, aging schedules, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Liaise internally with departments to resolve billing or supporting document issues.
  • 4. Journal Entries & Reconciliations

  • Assist in preparing monthly journal entries and updates in the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and other assigned reconciliations.
  • Ensure filing and documentation are maintained in an organized and audit‑compliant manner.
  • 5. Audit, Tax & Compliance Support

  • Assist in gathering and preparing documents during internal or statutory audits.
  • Support taxation and statutory filing requirements when needed.
  • 6. General Administrative & Ad‑Hoc Tasks

  • Assist in maintaining proper document control and file management for Accounts.
  • Undertake any other related duties or assignments as directed by Superior.
  • Job Requirements

  • At least Diploma in Accountancy, or related field required.
  • At least 2‑3 years of experience required.
  • Experienced in preparing full sets of accounts.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Minimum basic English and fluent in Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to express yourself well, be articulate and persuasive, good teamwork skills, responsible and organized.
