1. Monthly Account Closing Support
- Prepare and update accounting schedules and supporting worksheets.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounting system accurately and timely.
- Perform basic reconciliations and highlight discrepancies for review.
2. Accounts Payable
Review supplier invoices and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.Ensure proper verification, coding, and matching of invoices to POs / DOs (if applicable).Assist in preparing payment vouchers and liaise for approvals.Maintain updated vendor records and monitor outstanding payables.3. Accounts Receivable
Prepare customer invoices and ensure supporting documents are complete.Update and monitor receipt collections, aging schedules, and follow up on overdue accounts.Liaise internally with departments to resolve billing or supporting document issues.4. Journal Entries & Reconciliations
Assist in preparing monthly journal entries and updates in the accounting system.Perform bank reconciliation and other assigned reconciliations.Ensure filing and documentation are maintained in an organized and audit‑compliant manner.5. Audit, Tax & Compliance Support
Assist in gathering and preparing documents during internal or statutory audits.Support taxation and statutory filing requirements when needed.6. General Administrative & Ad‑Hoc Tasks
Assist in maintaining proper document control and file management for Accounts.Undertake any other related duties or assignments as directed by Superior.Job Requirements
At least Diploma in Accountancy, or related field required.At least 2‑3 years of experience required.Experienced in preparing full sets of accounts.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Minimum basic English and fluent in Bahasa Malaysia.Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.Good interpersonal skills including the ability to express yourself well, be articulate and persuasive, good teamwork skills, responsible and organized.Seniority level
