The ERP Presales Consultant will work closely with the Sales and Delivery teams to understand client business needs, design suitable ERP solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations. The role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities, ensuring customers clearly understand the value of the proposed ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and understand client requirements.

Conduct discovery workshops with prospective clients to gather business and technical needs.

Map client requirements to ERP functionality and propose tailored solutions.

Solution Design & Demonstrations

Prepare and deliver customized ERP demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.

Develop solution proposals, architecture outlines, and business case justifications.

Translate complex ERP functionality into clear business benefits for clients.

Proposal Support

Support RFP / RFI responses with functional and technical input.

Create presales documentation including presentations, process flows, and solution blueprints.

Collaborate with delivery teams to validate feasibility and scope of proposed solutions.

Thought Leadership

Stay up to date on ERP trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings.

Provide feedback to Product and Delivery teams to enhance solution positioning.

Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and solution workshops.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.

3–7 years of ERP consulting or presales experience (functional or technical).

Prior exposure to industries such as manufacturing, distribution, or retail is an advantage.

Strong business process knowledge (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, or others).

Excellent presentation, communication, and client engagement skills.

Ability to conduct discovery sessions and translate client needs into ERP solutions.

Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to support regional and cross-border client engagements.

Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, KingdeeCG, YonBIP, etc.).

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
