Account Manager – Water Treatment Solutions for Data Center (Mandarin Speaker) – Johor

A global leader in water treatment and sustainability solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their High-Tech Industry Division based in Johor . This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with strong technical expertise in cooling water treatment systems , looking to support the fast-growing data center and high-tech sectors in the region.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing key customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering value-added solutions that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability for your clients. You’ll work closely with decision-makers in industrial and high-tech facilities to provide innovative water treatment programs tailored to their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic customer accounts within the data center and high-tech industries across Johor and the broader region.
  • Develop and execute account plans that align with customer goals and drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Build long-term partnerships with both existing and prospective clients through consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Understand complex technical systems and provide customized cooling water treatment solutions to improve operational reliability and sustainability.
  • Analyze customer systems, interpret performance data, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, engineering, and service teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the promotion and implementation of new technologies and digital tools that demonstrate measurable performance and cost benefits.
  • Communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to support local and regional clients, including multinational organizations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical sales , preferably in water treatment or chemical engineering industries .
  • Proven track record in managing complex, high-value accounts — ideally within data centers, high-tech, or industrial sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (or a related field).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in digital tools for service reporting and data interpretation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written), with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed across Johor and nearby regions.
