Overview

We are seeking talented Cloud Deployment Engineers to join our team. This role is part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) , where you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure application and infrastructure stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databases, networking, and deployment failures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement long-term solutions.
  • Improve monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve potential problems.
  • Support the deployment and configuration of applications and services.
  • Automate routine tasks and monitoring processes through scripting.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents promptly.
  • Perform system analysis, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in Linux system administration.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting application, network, and database performance issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and virtual machines.
  • Scripting experience (Bash / Shell or equivalent) for automation.
  • Solid understanding of databases and performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills in Chinese (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Flexibility to work on rotational shifts (see schedule below).

    • Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (CI / CD, infrastructure as code, containerization).
  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Hive, ELK).

    • Work Schedule (Shift Rotation)

  • Morning (Hybrid) : 7am – 4pm
  • Afternoon (Flexi) : 3pm – 12am
  • Night (Flexi) : 11pm – 8am
  • Salary range : Up to RM10,000
