Executive, IFRS 17 Reporting (1-year Contract)

Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad is seeking an executive experienced in IFRS 17 reporting to support the implementation of BNM’s Insurance and Takaful System Redevelopment (ITSR) and to manage the financial statement close processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of BNM’s ITSR.
• Assist in the financial statement close process from MFRS 4 to MFRS 17 and TOSS reporting.
• Support the Manager of Financial Reporting by producing various local reporting requirements.
• Assist in the design and implementation of BNM’s ITSR.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, statutory regulations, and other financial-related requirements.
• Supervise the financial reporting process and provide support to the Manager of Financial Reporting.
• Provide risk management support to the Senior Manager / Manager of Financial Reporting.
• Execute other ad‑hoc activities required to support Finance functions.

Qualifications

The incumbent should have exposure to insurance or Takaful technical accounting and be fluent in applying financial reporting standards to the regional reporting process. Strong communication skills, networking ability, and a proven track record of delivering within stipulated timelines are essential.
