Shop Assistant / Cashier (Semenyih)

Overview

The Shop Assistant will assist the retail store manager with working the floor, managing inventory and providing customer service. The Cashier will assist in receiving payments, issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and card transactions. The role requires physical fitness, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will :

Shop Assistant Receiving, unpacking and arranging new stocks delivered Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves Assisting customers in finding the products they are looking for Addressing customer complaints and inquiries Sharp, precise and careful in handling the job Hardworking and positive in all instruction given Responsible for retail selling Cashier Be in charge of the cashier counter / order station Handle cash and customer transactions Ensure accounts are up-to-date and money does not go missing Sharp, precise and careful in handling the job Hardworking and positive in all instruction given Count and check the day’s collections and submit to cashier head Process sales (scan and bag products) according to procedure You might thrive in this role if you have :

Min SPM Age between 18-35 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience or basic knowledge in retail is an added advantage Compensation, Benefits and Perks
