About the Role :
As a PTG Intern, you will gain valuable exposure to the general manufacturing environment and develop a strong understanding of basic manufacturing processes—from assembly to testing. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced technicians and engineers to learn the essential operations and quality control methods involved in producing high-quality products. This internship offers hands-on experience with various test equipment, product lines, and statistical analysis techniques, providing a solid foundation for a career in manufacturing and process engineering.
What You Will Do :
Learn and understand the fundamental manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, and quality assurance.
Gain hands-on experience using test equipment utilized in the ATSN production line.
Collaborate with AE Technicians to troubleshoot test equipment issues and understand the basic OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) flow.
Work alongside OS Technicians to learn SYLSBL failure flow, verification methods, OCAP processes, FA (Failure Analysis) submission, and reporting.
Initiate and manage a continuous improvement project with a PTG team member, learning how to systematically track and report project progress.
Apply statistical methods daily to analyze manufacturing data and derive actionable insights.
Deepen your knowledge of various product technologies such as Bipolar, Diode, Zener, Logic, RF, Smart ID, and others.
Understand product-related issues and strategies for handling maverick topics.
Communicate effectively with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Process teams to ensure smooth lot movements and process coordination.
Participate in other related activities to broaden your understanding of manufacturing operations.
What You Will Need :
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Strong interest in manufacturing processes, product testing, and quality assurance.
Basic understanding of electronics and semiconductor devices is a plus.
