SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant for a 12-month onsite contract engagement in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP EWM, hands‑on configuration experience, and proven involvement in large‑scale implementation or support projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support end‑to‑end SAP EWM processes, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and EWM system solutions.
Configure SAP EWM modules including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, slotting, physical inventory, and RF integration.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams (MM, SD, PP, QM, TM) to ensure seamless integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve EWM‑related issues within SLA.
Prepare functional documentation including FS, test scripts, training materials, and cutover plans.
Conduct workshops, UAT sessions, and end‑user training.
Support warehouse operations teams during hyper‑care and stabilization.
Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, and RF development.
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders to optimize warehouse processes using EWM best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 7+ years of SAP experience , with at least 4 years in SAP EWM .

Strong hands‑on configuration experience in SAP EWM (Decentralized or Embedded).

Experience in warehouse process flows : inbound, outbound, picking, packing, staging, GR / GI, replenishment, and transportation interface.

Solid understanding of EWM–ERP integration.

Experience with RF scanner setup, queue management, and warehouse order management.

Knowledge of labor management, slotting & rearrangement, and wave management is an advantage.

Experience in at least one full‑cycle EWM implementation is required.

Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with onsite & offshore teams.
