Overview

Kanika (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a leading supplier of frozen foods, we are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Executive, Shipping (Seafood 海鲜, F&B 食品和饮料, HORECA, FMCG) to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is a crucial part of the organisation's purchasing and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient procurement and delivery of frozen food products to the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering) industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of frozen food products from suppliers, negotiate price terms, source products, and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate the logistics of transporting frozen goods, liaising with logistics providers, and monitoring delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast future purchasing needs
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to expand the product range and improve cost-efficiency
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align purchasing strategies with customer demand
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for the handling and storage of frozen goods
• Plan and monitor the shipments to ensure they meet deadlines.
• Follow up on the documents, customs forms for declarations, packing lists, and invoices, and maintain the necessary documents.
• Handles and coordinates the logistics for import port & arrival by truck, including liaising with forwarders.
• Able to communicate with overseas suppliers in Mandarin Chinese.
