Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure adherence to SOPs, food quality, and presentation standards.
- Assist in menu development, taking into account food cost, customer preferences, and dietary needs.
- Supervise and guide line cooks in following standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
- Train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other back-of-house team members.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of raw materials and ingredients to prevent shortages.
- Take charge of kitchen leadership in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Support the team in maintaining food quality, minimizing waste, and controlling food costs.
- Ensure proper storage of food according to hygiene and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support kitchen and restaurant operations.
Requirements :
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or related field.Preferably with 1 year of supervisory / managerial experience in the F&B industry.Must be able to read and speak Malay & English.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Energetic, team-oriented, and passionate about food.Former hospitality staff are encouraged to apply.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
