Job description

Join our team and take the lead in creating exceptional food experiences while guiding and inspiring a dedicated kitchen crew.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure adherence to SOPs, food quality, and presentation standards.
  • Assist in menu development, taking into account food cost, customer preferences, and dietary needs.
  • Supervise and guide line cooks in following standardized recipes and preparation procedures.
  • Train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other back-of-house team members.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of raw materials and ingredients to prevent shortages.
  • Take charge of kitchen leadership in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Support the team in maintaining food quality, minimizing waste, and controlling food costs.
  • Ensure proper storage of food according to hygiene and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support kitchen and restaurant operations.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or related field.
  • Preferably with 1 year of supervisory / managerial experience in the F&B industry.
  • Must be able to read and speak Malay & English.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Energetic, team-oriented, and passionate about food.
  • Former hospitality staff are encouraged to apply.

    Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
