Job description

Applicant must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Litigation Clerk.

Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office – Word etc).

Must be able to work independently.

Job Scope

  • Preparing and typing legal correspondences / letters and court documents (e.g. pleadings, notices, bundles of documents, records of appeal etc).
  • Filing and extracting court documents via the Court’s e-filing system.
  • General administrative work (e.g. photocopying, scanning, e-filing, recording outgoing mails / couriers, file management - opening / closing files etc).
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking case timelines and deadlines.
  • Must be able to handle simple accounts and prepare Vouchers, Invoices and Receipts.
  • Answering phone calls and liaising with clients, court staff and law firms etc.
