Assist Assistant Dormitory Manager / Manager in overall dormitory operations.
Assist in full management services and enrolment processes (e.g., Form B, POI activities).
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and government authorities on dormitory matters.
Handle complaints and feedback from residents, ensuring timely follow-up.
Maintain and review the dormitory's defect book daily.
Handle disciplinary matters involving residents and escalate unresolved issues to authorities (e.g., police).
Take charge of security deployment in the dormitory.
Organize fire safety drills; train residents on fire exits, firefighting equipment, and assembly points.
Liaise with government agencies regarding safety and security issues (JTK, BOMBA, DOSH, SPAN and etc)
Conduct orientation briefings for new residents and coordinate with maintenance for unit cleaning / refurbishment.
Maintain and safeguard maintenance tools, equipment, and store in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
Ensure dormitory cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards are met at all times.
Monitor waste management, pest control, and upkeep of common facilities.
Supervise housekeeping team to ensure quality service.
Troubleshooting, repairs, and improvements of dormitory units and facilities (e.g., electrical outlets, switches, wiring, fans, water leaks).
Maintain facilities such as genset, lift, CCTV, STP, MSB, turnstile, fire-fighting system, face recognition, and card access systems in compliance with DOSH, JKKP, DOE and BOMBA requirements.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements :
At least 1 years of working experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance.
Minimum SPM or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical system and painting works.
Experience in maintaining building facilities.
Exposure to residential and commercial building management facilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Malay.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as lead and as a team player.
Possesses own transport and a valid driving license.
Knowledge of the Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990 (Act 446) is an advantage.
