The Role
Responsible for overseeing the design, fit-out, and delivery of tenant spaces, ensuring alignment with the new retail concept. In addition, they are tasked with managing and executing the Asset Enhancement Initiative to improve the value and appeal of commercial or retail properties, support the Centre Manager of various malls.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all asset enhancement projects align with the guidelines set in the Fit-Out Manual, maintaining consistency across the property.
- Integrate innovative design elements into the asset enhancement process that elevate the property’s aesthetic and functionality.
- Update and refine the Fit-Out Manual as new enhancements and upgrades are made to the property, ensuring a seamless experience for tenants.
- Work closely with retail design teams to ensure the new retail concept is reflected in the design and enhancements of tenant spaces, including integrating brand guidelines, layout optimization, and customer-facing improvements.
- Coordinate with tenants to implement design changes that align with both their brand identity and the overall asset enhancement goals.
- Establish and manage budgets for asset enhancement projects, ensuring that all initiatives are completed within budget constraints while achieving the desired outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the quality or objectives of the enhancement initiative.
- Provide regular financial updates to senior management regarding project expenses and anticipated ROI from enhancements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and that the enhancements meet both design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Approve completed projects and ensure that all final deliverables meet the expectations set for the asset enhancement initiative.
- Work with individual tenants to customize their spaces as part of the asset enhancement process, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining property standards.
The Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or any related field.Minimum 7 years of working experience in tenant coordination, fit-out design review, and mall development projects, preferably within the retail, property, or construction industry.Strong understanding of tenant fit-out standards, M&E coordination, mall design guidelines, and local authority submission requirements.Able to review and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to ensure compliance with the landlord’s design criteria.Experience in project management, space planning, and site supervision during the fit-out phase.Proficient in Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, and other relevant design / project coordination tools.Strong leadership with excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
