OVERVIEW
- The candidate reports to and shall assist the company's Head of Legal in overseeing all legal matters pertaining to the organisation's business strategy and operations.
Intellectual Property Portfolio : (40%)
Liaison with external agent and solicitors on all intellectual property matters such as trademarks, industrial design and patentsTo assist the Head of Legal in developing and maintaining an efficient tracking system for the company's intellectual property portfolioCustodian and safe keeping of all intellectual property related documentsGeneral Contract Management : (30%)
Vetting, drafting, and reviewing broad range of contractsSupport internal stakeholders in meetings, discussions, and negotiations with external parties with sound legal adviceKeep track and maintain contract status and update report ensure timely conclusion on all types of contractsCustody and filing of all contractual documentsGeneral Legal Advisory : (30%)
Provide strategic and tactical advisory on a broad range of legal areas and managing queries from various internal stakeholdersReview and establish sound legal guidelines, policies and processes in line with business direction.Keep abreast on all laws and regulatory developments relevant to the organisation and provide timely advice on any impending impact.Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior as and when required.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Law.Minimum 4 years of working experience in legal practice or in-house counselExperience in Intellectual Property is essentialExperience in relevant legal areas such as corporate, commercial, contract management
