Newly Created IT Audit Specialist Role in Klang Valley

Your new company was established half a decade ago with a global presence of more than 40 countries worldwide. The IT Audit Specialist is a newly created role within the business, and they are looking for a junior experienced IT Auditor to join them. The office is based in the Klang Valley region.

Your new role

Assist in planning and conducting IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies.

Perform risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability.

Document audit findings and prepare reports for management review.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand processes and systems.

Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.

Perform ad-hoc audit assignments, as of when required.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 3 years of IT Auditing, IT Security or related roles

Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Familiarity with audit software and tools is a plus.
