Job Description

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross‑functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem‑solvers with a client‑oriented mindset. As a Senior Java Developer at Endava, you will work on exciting and challenging projects using Java technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate and implement technical solutions for medium / high complexity applications.
• Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
• Facilitate the planning, implementation, and delivery of software, ensuring it is completed on time, follows agreed requirements, and adheres to established quality standards.
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders to clarify requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
• Recommend and promote IT industry standards, tools, and practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well‑engineered software products.
• Propose improvements and raise risks / issues related to development activities.
• Learn, apply and promote new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
• Participate in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.
• Share experience and knowledge gained from projects.
