Job description

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and result driven Brand Manager to enhance our marketing efforts, grow our customer base, and strengthen our brand in Malaysia market. In this role, you will lead, develop, and execute branding and social media strategies, focusing on building brand awareness, attracting new customers, generating & acquiring sales leads. This position is essential to expanding our reach, nurturing partner relationships, and supporting business growth through creative marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Management : Lead the implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our business objectives and resonates with our customer segments.
  • Define brand communication strategy for MY market, ensuring consistent application across all customer touchpoints, including but not limited to social media, emails, videos and onsite activations.
  • Conduct regular brand audits to assess market perception and identify areas for improvement.
  • Social & Paid ad Management : Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute a multi-channel social media strategy, increasing brand visibility and generating sales leads.
  • Develop, design and execute content for a content calendar for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Supervise and optimize paid ad performance, with focus on meta and google.
  • Monitor social media trends and analyze suitable performance metrics to optimize the social media strategy.

  • Partnership & Event Marketing : Build and maintain relationships with business partners, key industry media, KOLs and influences.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to maximize brand exposures, enhance brand reputation and acquire potential customers.
  • Organize and lead the execution of onsite activations, including opening, seminar, co-brand activities, promotions, etc.
  • Ensure that all aspects of event execution adhere to brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency.
  • Track and report on success of all event marketing efforts, providing insights on future event marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years in marketing communication, with a strong track record in brand strategy, social media management and marketing campaigns. Experience in consumer goods is advantageous.
  • Possesses deep insights into the Malaysian market and local culture, with a nuanced understanding of consumer behavior and social trends.
  • Demonstrates strong capability in budget and timeline management, delivering projects on schedule and within resource constraints.
  • Excels in cross-departmental collaboration and third-party management, effectively coordinating between internal teams and external agencies to drive alignment and execution.
  • A passion for building and growing brands.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and effective communication abilities, both in verbal and written forms.
